Essay on Racial Profiling An Uncessary Injustice

Racial profiling is the most idiotic and arrogant thing you can ever do as a person. Usually the people who are affected by racial profiling are minorities, however, any person can be a victim of racial profiling. Some may think that racial profiling is non-existent, however, I would like to bring the situation into focus and show that it is still in existence and has been observed in the past and now in the current year. Although, more than fifty percent of the time racial profiling is conducted it is against a man or woman of color; an African-American in other words. There are instances where a white person can be a victim as well. Just as frequently racial profiling occurs in social networking it can also occur in the professional environment. In your workplace or general common area you would expect the most professional and relaxed demeanor possible, whether it is during an interview, an actual assignment within your employment, or a nice conversation. However, this is not always the case. There are times when you will go to an interview and you will be qualified for the job and the right person for the job except for one thing, you are not the correct skin color for the companys interviewer. This is where racial profiling begins. In addition, there are times when you are just attempting to engage in healthy conversation. So, now you are being categorized with every other person of your color and you are all being called the same thing. You cant even show your differences. This person has already made up their mind and they are sticking to it. You are this color and you are lazy or not trustworthy; whatever the reason may be. It isnt right to say all people of one race display this characteristic because one person of that race displayed it a bit more frequen tly during your observation. For example, Professor Henry Gates had just arrived home from a business trip to China. He went to the front door of his home to find the lock is jammed. Mr. Gates proceeds to the back door
